Payson Raconteurs seeking new members
The Payson Raconteurs, a group of area writers, assemble at 6 p.m. every Monday in a private dinning room in Tiny’s Restaurant. The members invite anyone who has a passion to write stories, poetry, songs, etc. Fun assignments are given that inspire creativity and participation is not required. Members read aloud their completed works and stories in progress.
This is a fun and relaxed group of writers. Come join the fun. No fees are required.

Soroptimists change meeting site
Soroptimists International of Zane Grey Country will start to meet at Tiny’s Restaurant effective June 1, 2011.

High Country Garden Club
High Country Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 2 at First Southern Baptist Church.
The speaker will be Gary Roberts from the Tonto National Forest Service. His topic will be fire prevention and keeping your property and surrounding acreage protected. With the fire season upon us, this is a timely program with helpful information on doing our part to protect our properties.

Woodland Meadows membership meeting
The members of Woodland Meadows Lot Owners Association Phases 2, 3 and 4 will have the annual membership meeting at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Community Presbyterian Church, located at 800 W. Main St.
The election poll will open at 12:30 p.m. and close at 1:30 p.m. for the WMLOA members who have not voted by mail and would prefer to vote in person.
During the annual meeting, the polls will close, ballots will be counted and three winning directors will then be announced. Members are cordially invited to attend.
