Blocking Public Land Access Is Illegal

This letter is for the person or persons that feel the need to block the forest path off of Cleonna in Strawberry. This land is public property and not your private land.

We walk our dogs every day in the forest and have on numerous occasions had to clear your logs and rocks that you have put on the path. We are not sure what you are blocking, but if it is for quad traffic all this does is force them to go into the forest instead of following the designated path. We want to be able to enjoy walking in the forest without having to clear a path.

We have discussed this issue with the Forest Service and what you are doing is illegal. Please, in the future, if you feel the need to block a path, block your own property.

Jim and Barbara Worhle
