Make A Homeless Pet Thankful By Adopting

What better way to show your thanks, than adopting a pet before Thanksgiving.

We have so many wonderful pets to choose from. Don’t believe me? Come down and see for yourself. I will personally show you around and help you find your match. We all have so much to be thankful for, why not let a new companion be thankful too; thankful for you that is.

With the holidays upon us, we prepare for so much. Cookies are baking in the oven, turkeys and cranberry sauce are shared with loved ones, music is playing, people are loving and laughing and memories are being made. I guarantee that will all be much more enjoyable, if you add a new companion.

Think about it; who doesn’t love the family Christmas card with the cat and dog right in front? Those are always my favorite cards. I know you are busy and you may not think you have time, but it doesn’t take too long, I promise. The shelter is located at 812 S. McLane Road, just south of Main Street. We are conveniently open 7 days a  week, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can even save yourself a step by going online to view our adoptable animals, and to print off our adoption application at www.humanesocietycentral az.org.

Adopting a new companion is fun and exciting and will take away some of the stress you may be feeling. So come down and see me, or any of our helpful, friendly staff and we will gladly help you out.

DUKE

Duke is a 5-year-old Shepherd. He is neutered, house trained and well mannered. Duke would do best in a home that is quiet and loving. He gets along with other dogs but has not been around children, so a meet and greet is required. He is pretty easygoing and is looking to find his forever home, where he will be loved and well taken care of.

Sage

SAGE

Sage is a 4-year-old Pit/Hound mix. This dog is so well behaved and affectionate. He gets along great with other dogs and older children. Sage is the type of dog that sits quietly in his kennel while the other dogs bark. He is a true gem, and will make an amazing pet for someone who has plenty of time to give him the exercise and attention he needs. He is neutered, current on his vaccines and house trained. He walks like a gentleman on a leash and likes to ride shotgun in the car.

 BABY GIRL

Baby Girl is a 1-1/2-year-old spayed female. She is very outgoing and playful. She gets along great with other dogs and older children. She is very active and would do best in a home that enjoys outdoor activities that she can be a part of. She walks like lady on the leash, is house trained and loves to play with toys. Baby Girl is one of the most outgoing, friendly dogs we have right now.

Shadow

SHADOW

Shadow is a 7-year-old Poodle/Dachshund mix. He is currently in a foster home. He gets along with other dogs and kids. He would make a great companion for an older couple that likes to travel and wants a smaller dog that will ride along with them. He is house trained, neutered and up to date on his vaccines. To meet Shadow, a meet and greet can be arranged. Please contact Chandra at 474-5590, ext 104.
