JULIETs to meet
JULIETs, Just Us Ladies Into Eating Together, meets for lunch and conversation at 11:30 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Crosswinds Restaurant at the Payson Airport.
It is just for fun, no book to read, no dish to make. Everyone is welcome, no reservations required. This month the date is Tuesday, Nov. 22. Take a few minutes off to relax and have lunch during your Thanksgiving preparations.

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service
Rim Country residents and visitors are invited to join the congregations of the Community Presbyterian Church, Mount Cross Lutheran Church, Payson United Methodist Church and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for an ecumenical Thanksgiving service.
Hosted at the Community Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Main St., Payson, the service will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22.
One of its special features will be a musical program by the combined choirs of the four churches.
New Hope Grief Support Group
The New Hope Grief Support Group is for those who have lost a spouse. It meets from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the Senior Circle, 215 N. Beeline Highway, Payson.

Thanksgiving Eve worship service
Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, will have a special Thanksgiving Eve worship service at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 23.
The theme for the service will be A Time to Remember.

Payson Fly Casters
The Payson Fly Casters Club will meet Saturday, Nov. 26 at Tiny’s Restaurant for breakfast at 8 a.m. and the general meeting at 9 a.m.

Midweek Advent Services scheduled
Midweek Advent Services will be held at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, 507 W. Wade Lane, Payson, in preparation for celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Musicians wanted for new worship
Musicians — specifically a drummer, guitarist and keyboardist — are needed for a new contemporary rock service at Mount Cross Lutheran Church.
This new service will be at 6:30 p.m., Sundays starting Jan. 8.

December is Human Rights Awareness Month in Payson. Join Payson Amnesty International as members prepare for upcoming human rights events.
The group will meet from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Payson School District Board meeting room, 902 W. Main St., to prepare for the upcoming film screening and Global Write-a-thon.

Tai chi and qigong
Tai chi and qigong classes are offered at 9 a.m. Saturdays at the Rim Country Health and Retirement Community, 807 W. Longhorn Road.
The program is especially designed for seniors 50 or older, but is beneficial for all ages. There is no charge, but donations are accepted.
The Saving Graces of Payson — a Canasta card-playing group — is looking for a few ladies who enjoy fun, laughter and friendship.
This Red Hat group meets at 10 a.m. the first Wednesday of every month at the Chaparral Pines dining room. Anyone interested in joining will be welcomed. You do not need to know how to play, the members will be happy to teach the game.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group
The Desert Southwest Chapter cordially invites caregivers, families, service providers and members of the community to attend the Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group meeting at Payson Senior Center, 514 W. Main St., from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. the first and third Wednesdays of each month starting Dec. 7.
The key is to walk away with skills to support caregivers of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
