The staff and Dr. Troy Ford of Payson Eye Care Center believe value means more than just being the cheapest pair of glasses a customer can purchase; true value means loving your glasses every day and buying glasses that insure clear, practical and comfortable lenses. At Payson Eye Care Center, Dr. Ford and his staff recognize the value of every person and are guided by their commitment to excellence and caring service.

Payson Eye Care Center has something for everyone and every budget!

Payson Eye Care keeps a large selection of designer lenses as well as value-priced lenses which all come with at least a one-year warranty and the shop stands behind what it sells. Payson Eye Care also has a full service lab, which enables staff to cut lenses on site in order to cut the customer’s waiting time to receive their new lenses.

We would like to share a bit of Dr. Ford’s background with you so you can be familiar with his studies, experience and values.

Dr. Troy Ford graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1990 and began practicing in Payson that same year. What began as a two-day a week practice has evolved into a full scope primary eye care center. Dr. Ford enjoys raising his family here and is proud to call Payson his home. He has been active in the service to his church as well as supporting school and municipal activities through the years.

Dr. Ford has always invested in the latest technology to ensure the most accurate and efficient diagnoses and treatment of the medical eye conditions. Diagnosis of conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration require sophisticated tests to help patients choose the appropriate treatment plan. Payson Eye Care Center recently acquired a new high definition Ocular Coherent Tomography unit that allows for a “living cross-section” of the retina or optic nerve to be imaged. Digital photography of the anterior and posterior eye document medical eye conditions. State of the art Visual Field testing allows for peripheral vision to be accurately documented.

The newest addition to Dr. Ford’s up-to-date technology is the Visioffice System. We will receive this state of the art optical system in January. We will be the only practice in the Rim Country able to offer the visioffice digital lens system. The Visioffice System is able to measure the real 3D position of each eye’s unique eye rotation center (ERC) to create the most individualized lenses possible — eyecode lenses.

In closing we would like to remind the community the importance of getting an eye exam at least every one to two years. Some of the serious eye diseases that take your vision away have no symptoms. Your eyes are not only the “Window to your Soul” but also the “Window to your health.”

Dr. Ford can diagnose many serious health problems just by performing a thorough, comprehensive eye exam.

Call us today to schedule your next eye exam.
