The American Legion Riders December meeting is at Tiny’s Restaurant Saturday, Dec. 3. Breakfast is at 9:15 a.m., with a business meeting to follow at 10 a.m.
The meeting agenda will include continuing discussion regarding recognition of contributors to last year’s Fun Run for Payson Supply Line, and ongoing planning for the 2012 Fun Run, scheduled for May 12, 2012 at the American Legion Post #69.

Pine Library Friends to hold Christmas potluck
The Pine Library Friends will hold its next meeting Monday, Dec. 5 at the Library Activity Room, located right behind the Cultural Hall in Pine.
The group will meet at noon for its annual Christmas Potluck. Bring a friend and a favorite dish to share. Plates and utensils will be furnished as well as beverages. There will be no guest speaker as the time will be used to eat and enjoy good conversation. Please join us.
In light of the holiday spirit, please bring a boxed cake mix and a can of frosting to be donated to the Pine/Strawberry food bank for them to include in the Christmas boxes that will be given to the less fortunate.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group
The Desert Southwest Chapter cordially invites caregivers, families, service providers and members of the community to attend the Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group meeting at Payson Senior Center, 514 W. Main St., from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. the first and third Wednesdays of each month starting Dec. 7.
The key is to walk away with skills to support caregivers of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
