First Friday
Community Presbyterian
Come join us us for an evening of good food and good music by the Starlighters this Friday, Oct. 7 at the Community Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Main St. We will be serving a soup and salad dinner. You get your choice of one of three different soups, a salad, dinner roll, dessert and a drink for only $5. Eat in or get your dinner to go. All proceeds go to the children’s programs at the Community Presbyterian Child Learning Center.
The shuttle bus will be running too, so park at the church, eat dinner and then hitch a ride up and down Main Street.
Bootleg Alley Antiques & Art
First Friday fun continues at Bootleg Alley Antiques & Art, 520 W. Main St., with cool, October evenings which are perfect for a walk on Historic Main Street. On Oct. 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Brandon Shepard will perform country and light rock. Cooking gourmet brats from Charlie’s Meats is Chef Gary Bedsworth and Diane Frederick Bedsworth. For $5 you can purchase a brat with all the trimmings, chips and a soda. All proceeds benefit PAWS.
Gatherers can also treat themselves to Scoops ice cream. Everyone is invited to this year-round free event.
Artists of the Rim Gallery
Oct. 7 is the beginning of Main Street’s First Friday Fall Fest. The Artists of the Rim Gallery is using this occasion to feature recent work by its artist/partners. In order to better showcase this new work, they plan a “Major Changeover” to create a “new look.” Payson’s first co-op gallery invites its many patrons and friends to join us for an exciting evening of art, food and fun.
