Fall Is A Favorite Time Of Year For Many Rim Country Residents

The fall season is really one of my favorite times of year. It brings in the cool, crisp, clean air and just adds to the tranquility of Christopher Creek.

I was actually first introduced to Christopher Creek in October, so maybe that is why this time of year seems extra special to me.

I’ve talked with a few other people about their favorite time of the year up here and while most people I spoke with said the summer, fall was the second pick. Many people said they liked the beginning of fall because it signaled the start of the holidays. Others liked the fall because they said the sights and smells are amazing! I’m also sure that many of you have been seeing lots of wildlife here lately. Susan Keown told me recently that she’s seen a coyote, a wild turkey and a bunch of elk.

We’ve been having a deer and a little doe that keep showing up at Christopher Creek Lodge. If they show up again, I may just have to give them a key and check them in.

As always, I do need your help with content and stories! For anyone wanting to submit information from the Christopher Creek area for inclusion in our weekly article, please email me at: info@christophercreeklodge.

com. Any submitted pictures must be full-size (typically around 1MB per picture). The cutoff time for inclusion in Friday’s article is close of business on Monday.
