Artoberfest To Be Held Oct. 21-23 At Casino

The PAL ARToberfest Fine Art and Fine Craft Show and Sale is Oct. 21, 22 and 23 at the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino Event Center (the old casino) and showcases the work of 17 artists. The majority of the participating artists are from the Rim Country, however, Prescott and Scottsdale are also represented; photographer George Lewis of Prescott and acrylic and mixed media artist Pat Stacy of Scottsdale were juried into the show.

The featured artist of the 2011 ArtoberFest is Georgianne Smolenski of Payson, whose specialty is hand-woven, wearable art.

Other Rim artists in the show are Jan Ransom, Pat Sessions, Angela Cockle, Jack Greenshield, Glenda Roark, C.M. Okerwall, Jim Strong, Larry Trotter, Melanie Capps, Don Harmon, Sharon Kennedy, Darlene Younker, Jon Gunzel and Rock Newcomb.
