Hello again, fellow Creekers.
Have your voice heard (or at least know what is going on in your community). The Christopher-Kohl’s Fire Department is having a community meeting on Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. This meeting is very important and will directly affect all residents in this area. The discussion will be about the budget, taxes and what kind of fire department we’d like to have.
The Halloween Children’s Party on Saturday, Oct. 22 saw two flatbed trailers full of kids making the rounds.
Adult Halloween festivities are this Saturday, Oct. 29 with costume judging at Creekside from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by the Landmark party with BLJ D.J. for music.
The Ladies Luncheon at Christopher Creek Bible Fellowship was attended by 15 ladies on Saturday, Oct. 22. It was a big success.
The group enjoyed Ruth Neff, a delightful woman, mother of four daughters, and wife of Pat Neff, director of church ministry at Friends of Israel. Ruth gave her testimony and shared with us about how to have a grateful attitude while depending on God’s faithfulness. The group all enjoyed a delicious salad luncheon and great fellowship with beautiful music led by Joy Ruetz on the piano while Suzanne Popson led our singing. Susan Hepworth introduced Ruth Neff and led us in prayers. Bianca Malmin decorated our tables with her creative fall colors. Thank you to all the ladies who brought their favorite salads.
Thanks again for reading the column.
