Spotty rain earlier this week gave way to clear skies with lows at or around freezing. A warming trend with clear skies is predicted for this weekend with highs in the mid 60s and lows will hover at around the 32-degree mark.

On Oct. 22, A group of volunteers included Nancy Rice, Mike Lanser, Ginger Reeves, Sarah Stanford, Caleb Stanford, Joshua Stanford, Jerry Call and Dave Cook showed up to lend a hand in preparations for the painting of the Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center.

They worked to scrape off the old paint, pound in loose nails and wire brush the flaking areas prior to the painting.

John and Diane’s Painting has agreed in volunteering to do the painting with paint purchased by the chamber of commerce. This will commence as time allows with John and Diane’s schedule.
