Photography Exhibit At Down The Street

Tom Brossart, editor of the Payson Roundup and an award-winning photojournalist, will have his work at Down the Street Art Gallery for First Friday and throughout the month of September.

Down the Street Art Gallery, 703 W. Main St., Payson, will feature a photography exhibit for First Friday, Sept. 2 and through the remainder of the month.

The work of award-winning photojournalist Tom Brossart, editor of the Payson Roundup will be featured.

The works are primarily fine art and landscapes, many which have been published in the Payson Roundup’s Arizona Highlands magazine. Most were taken from around Arizona, including the Vermillion Cliffs, Sedona’s red rocks and Route 66.

All the works will be for sale, from $100 and up. Sizes range from 11 inches-by-14 inches up to 20 inches-by-24 inches; all the prints were handmade by Brossart.


Brossart is also teaching two classes in digital photography for the Payson campus of Gila Community College this fall, both still have openings.

A beginning class is on Tuesday afternoons and an intermediate workshop class is on Fridays.
