When Jeanne and I moved to Payson eight years ago, some people warned us that the health care was not good in Payson and we should keep our doctors, etc. in Phoenix.
Well, they were totally wrong!
My dear wife went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening after a four-year battle with an unknown disease, cancer and various other maladies.
Her health care in our fine town was excellent.
I think the world’s finest doctor is Alan Michels who truly loves his patients. He loved Jeanne and expressed his deepest concern over and over again. He even called me the morning after her passing away to see how I was doing.
We are truly blessed by God to have the fine administration and staff at Payson Regional Medical Center.
If there is a better skilled nursing facility than the Payson Care Center you’d need to prove that to me. Those people are fantastic, caring, knowledgeable and thorough. They were so kind to Jeanne, she actually liked staying there.
And then there is Hospice Compassus. Wow! These people are like heavenly messengers. Words fail to express my gratitude to them for their love for my dear wife and me.
I love living in this great town and I am absolutely thrilled with the health care we have here.
