For The Rich, By The Rich ...

Editor:

It looks like the “Roaring Twenties” all over again. According to The Atlantic magazine, two-thirds of all new income in America between 2002 and 2007 went to just the top 1 percent of Americans.

That’s $2 out of every $3 in America being sucked up by the richest of the rich. Not to mention that the wealthiest 400 Americans — our nation’s most senior oligarchs, who own more wealth than the bottom 150 million Americans combined — have seen their incomes double over the last 12 years while their tax rates have been cut in half.

Wealth inequality in America is at levels not seen since the 1920s — and we’re now a more unequal nation than the Ivory Coast, Pakistan, Ethiopia, and Kazakhstan according to data from the CIA Factbook.

Talk about a “for the rich, by the rich” economy ...

If you think this makes for a stronger America, just keep voting for those who support wealthy corporations and the richest 1 percent of Americans while cutting Social Security, Medicare and education. You know who they are.

Larry, are you referring to Barrack Hussein Obama when you say, keep voting for those that support wealthy corps? His biggest financial advisor is none other than Jeffery Immelt, the CEO of General Electric. The corporation that just moved two large divisions overseas to avoid paying taxes here in America. I bet you don't even know how much GE payed in taxes last year, damn near zilch! It is clear where you get your news and bogus information from, Larry. I'm sure you realize most politicians lie, but this president takes the cake. During his last speech, the Anointed One spoke about how he wanted to see more products stamped with "Made In America". What a crock. Guess who was sitting next to his wife during that speech? That's right! Little Jeffy. Wake up Larry and stop drinkin da Kool Aid! Open your eyes and the truth shall set you free. Tell the truth, Larry, did you know about Obama's relationship with Jeffrey and GE?

Mr. Brophy obviously loves a good dose of class warfare. But of course! It's what his Democrat 'masters' have coached him to say.

"Tax the rich, to feed the poor, til' there are no rich, no more."

Anyone that thinks that taxing the top .03% of the American people will somehow put America in the black doesn't understand that it's mathematically impossible.

Those people probably believe that the old practice of blood-letting would improve your health, too.
