Time To Give Forest Service People Some Credit

It’s time to stop trying to make our Forest Service people look like frog- and owl-loving nutcakes.

The Forest Service’s job is to protect our forests, which in turn protects communities like Payson. We owe them a debt of gratitude, not ridicule! They’re looking out for us.

As for an ASU campus in Payson, I asked a young Gila Community College student her opinion. Her answer? She’s against it because it will change Payson too much.

Wow. Like maybe more traffic, more drugs, more pollution, more crime? What a shame!
