For three days, the Payson High School Musical Theatre Club will proudly present “All Shook Up,” a musical based on the book of the same title by Joe DiPietro.

The story centers around Chad, played by Josh Leonard. Chad is a hip swingin’, guitar playin’, motorcycle ridin’ passionate music lover who rides into a “you never heard of it Midwestern town” only to change everyone’s life.

A love triangle expands into a maze of adoration and “trying to get your attention” which will strike the heart.

Throughout the two-act comedy, a live band will play the music of Elvis Presley including “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Love Me Tender,” and the title song, “All Shook Up.”

The PHS Musical Theatre Club production has a cast of 10 lead roles — five male and five female — including six high school seniors. An eight-member ensemble will assist with vocals.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, April 12; and 7 p.m., Saturday, April 14, with a matinee show scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, April 13. Presale discounted tickets are available at: Miss Fitz 260 Café, Payson Public Library and Oasis Christian Bookstore.
