Main Street Thrift Shops Moving

The Humane Society of Central Arizona Thrift Shop is planning a move across Main Street.

The shop will move directly north from its current location to 510 W. Main St., the former home of the Payson Woman’s Club. The thrift shop will hold a grand re-opening on Friday and Saturday, April 20-21.

The new location has more space to display items, including furniture. Managers say they’ll focus on offering something unique every day, including daily specials, and will continue to stock all the favorites of their savvy and dedicated shoppers.

The Humane Society of Central Arizona Thrift Shop directs all proceeds to support and care for the lost, abandoned and homeless animals served by the shelter.

The Thrift Shop is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To donate gently used items for the benefit of the animals, call (928) 468-6419 and arrange a pick-up time. Receipts are available for tax purposes. For more information, visit www.humanesocietycentralaz.org.

Another thrift shop has also been on the move. The Animal Welfare Thrift Shop moved from Main Street to 434 S. Beeline Highway, behind the Time Out Thrift Shop.

The store held a grand re-opening March 31. For more information on the Animal Welfare Thrift Shop, call (928) 951-2587.

Second Hand Curiosity, another shop that got its start on Main Street, has also moved. The store is now off the Beeline Highway between Misti’s Solutions and Cash for Gold.
