Police have surrounded Arizona State Credit Union after a man robbed the bank just before 12:30 p.m.
The man, described as wearing a green shirt and blue shorts, reportedly fled the bank after leaving something on the counter, at 104 E. Highway 260, that employees told police dispatch might be a bomb. Officials are still on scene at the bank.
Officers apprehend the man minutes after he fled the bank in front of Bashas, according to scanner traffic.
