I would like to thank the Roundup for the publicity and splendid coverage it gave to the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Beauty Lou and the Country Beast.” I’d also like to thank all the parents and grandparents who encouraged their children to audition and backed them in doing the show.
And what a fun show it was! It was great to see so many people come together in such a short time — not only the actors and crew, but the sponsors as well.
None of it would have been possible without the dedication of Kathy Siler and her crew at the Payson Longhorn Theatre, and MCT would never have come to town without Lynnette Brouwer and her daughter Zoia. They initiated the event then Lynnette spearheaded the marketing and fund-raising to make it possible.
And thank you to all the co-producers of the show, including our 11th-hour friends, the Kiwanis Club and the Optimist Club, whom we couldn’t get into the program in time!
It was such a pleasure for our school to partner in this production, and we look forward to many more years of children’s theater in Payson.
Anyone can contribute to bringing Missoula back to town, and help to guarantee their return would be most appreciated. For more details, you can call Lynnette at (928) 478-6906, or myself at (928) 478-4185.
