Several area churches have announced special Lenten services for Rim Country residents.

All of the churches invite members of the community to join their congregations for these services to prepare for Easter.

Rock of Ages Lutheran Church

The Lenten season theme at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church is “See His Cross.” The sermon topic for the second Lenten service on Wednesday, Feb. 29 will be “It’s No Secret!” from John 18:19-24, presented by Pastor David Sweet.

The Rock of Ages free soup supper is at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall followed by the service at 7 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend and join the congregation at supper and hearing His Word.

Rock of Ages Lutheran Church is at the corner of McLane and Airport Roads, Payson. For more information, contact Pastor David Sweet at (928) 474-2098.
