Thanks To Those Who Helped With Lip Sync Contest

We, meaning the Rim Country Optimist Club, always look forward to the Lip Sync Contest for high school students, which is a concert for the audience. It gives us an opportunity to work with the Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, the drama department and the high school students from Payson and surrounding area schools and those involved in home-schooling.

We recruited our first place winner Troy Whalen of the 1st Lip Sync Contest in 2009 and so appreciate the awesome job he did for this year’s concert. No additional description details are being provided as Michele Nelson and Dennis Fendler did an extraordinary job covering of the performance in the Feb. 21 issue of the Roundup.

Rotary, Rim Country Optimist and Kiwanis clubs wish to thank the following, individuals, organizations and businesses for supporting us in one or more ways: Sawmill Theatres; El Rancho Restaurant; Vita Mart; Fargo’s; PostNet; Terry Winans; The Wild Brush; Goat Creek Granite; Payson Jewelers; Payson Athletic Club; Payson Roundup; Jake’s Corner Bar; Pat Johnson/KMOG; Bob’s Western Wear; Craig (D.J.)
