Warming temperatures have melted much of the snow and created driving challenges for anyone using dirt roads. The continued warm conditions are expected to increase problems as snow melts and roads thaw.
Recent warming of both nighttime and, more importantly, daytime temperatures has thawed much of our snow.
The forecast for Friday is projected to peak at around 58 degrees with a low around 20 degrees. Saturday the temperatures are forecasted to return to more seasonal temperatures with our daytime highs only reaching into the upper 40s and nighttime lows dipping to the upper teens. As well, sunny skies continue to dominate with no precipitation in our forecast.
Moving forward in our “New Year,” we look at the past year with several businesses we have seen opened here.
A past community favorite “Blondie’s Deli” has returned due to the owners receiving so many requests to re-open. “One Cut Above” and “Premier Auto Body & Paint” have also opened their doors. Refurbishment of the external building surfaces of the Heber Overgaard Chamber of Commerce has also put on a fresh look.
