Hello again, fellow Creekers.
It is time for another installment of my “Better know your neighbor” series and this time it’s personal.
The Christopher Creek Lodge has hired a new property manager, Brendon Lewis. Brendon moved to Christopher Creek from Ava, Mo., about 45 minutes from Branson, where he was working on his father’s cattle ranch and attended Drury University. Brendon was born in Winslow, Ariz. and lived in Pinetop from first grade through high school where he met and later married his wife, Angela.
Brendon and Angela have six children (five boys and one girl), and one grandchild. The family includes: Steffen (21, married to Molly with baby girl Lydia Ann) who is currently serving in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan; Colin, 19, serving in the Army at West Point; Brecken, 18, graduating this year; Ashley, 16, and the only girl; Sheldon, 13; and the youngest, Braydon, age 10.
Brendon’s favorite hobbies are spending time with his family, skiing, fishing and exploring new places. Brendon’s favorite thing about Christopher Creek so far is the happy guests, beautiful pine trees and clean, crisp air.
I am very excited to have Brendon and his family as a part of the Christopher Creek Lodge family. I have known Brendon for years and everyone is just going to love this guy and his wonderful family. He and I are both Arizona natives, graduated in the same class from Blue Ridge, bussed tables together at Charlie Clark’s Steakhouse and I even played youth soccer against his wife (what a competitor). I’m sure you will meet Brendon and his family at some point around town and, when you do, I am confident you’ll be glad you did.
Thanks again for reading the column.
