Time Out Benefit A Success

On July 21, more than 100 people attended the “Summer Sizzle” fund-raiser at Klaver Garden in Round Valley to show their support for Time Out, Inc., the local domestic violence shelter.

A wonderful luncheon in the beautiful gardens was prepared by Ruth Klaver, and guests enjoyed a fashion show with great finds from Time Out’s Boutique that were modeled by Time Out volunteers and friends of Time Out. Musical entertainment was provided by Johnny Vela and Vela Entertainment.

Other sponsors included Ernie and Sue Padilla and the Oxbow and Pat Albritton.

Time Out, a private, non-profit agency founded in 1992, provides crisis intervention, community outreach/prevention programs, emergency shelter, supportive services, and transitional housing for adult victims of domestic violence and their children. Each year Time Out improves the safety and well-being of more than 1,300 hotline callers and over 450 abuse survivors.
