Police say they have arrested a man believed to have robbed a woman at gunpoint last week as she withdrew money from a bank ATM.
Officers arrested Douglas Ralph Henneman, 36, on Monday and charged him with armed robbery and theft.
Police say Henneman pointed a silver handgun at a woman at the Chase Bank drive-thru ATM May 20 and demanded her money.
Henneman then fled the area on foot. Police say he was picked up in a getaway vehicle reportedly driven by Rachel Eileen Teeney, 20. Police arrested Teeney on Monday and charged her with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and theft.
While searching for the gun Henneman used in the robbery, officers served several search warrants Monday night.
At one home in the 1000 block of South Cedarcrest Circle, police arrested several more people after allegedly finding drugs and drug paraphernalia, said Police Chief Don Engler.
Officers also discovered several items believed stolen from local businesses. It is unclear if police found the stolen items at the home on Cedarcrest. Charges and additional arrests are pending, Engler said.
“It was pretty good day,” he said. “We solved several burglaries and an armed robbery.”
