Hello again, fellow Creekers.
The Christopher Creek Independence Day Parade will be held Saturday, June 30.
All patriotic decorated vehicles and walking participants are welcome. The parade lineup begins at the Tall Pines Market at 12:30 p.m. and the parade starts at 1 p.m. The parade will head down Route 260 to the Creekside Restaurant, circle back to Columbine Road and down to the car wash, then continue down through and up Apple Lane and will finish at the Landmark at the Creek.
The Landmark at the Creek will provide ice cream for children of all ages and the Creekside Restaurant is giving out coupons for 10 percent off and a free dessert. The coupon will be good through July 4th.
This is always a fun event the entire family can enjoy.
Also, next weekend the Christopher-Kohl’s Firebelles are holding a book sale at the Tall Pines Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 23. Please have your baked goods to Sheila at the Tall Pines Market by Friday, June 22. If you have any questions, please contact Sheila, (928) 478-4550.
As always, I do need your help with content and stories! For anyone wanting to submit information from the Christopher Creek area for inclusion in our weekly article, please email me at: email@example.com. Any submitted pictures must be full-size (typically around 1MB per picture). The cutoff time for inclusion in Friday’s article is close of business on Monday.
