Your Lucky Day Has Arrived

Good luck is hard to come by these days. The fluctuating economy has affected everyone in some way or another, and gas prices have hit an all-time high. The lottery is exciting to play, but it isn’t the most dependable income at times. You may be thinking “How can HSCAZ change my luck?”

HSCAZ is here to inform you that your lucky day (or month) has finally arrived. The Humane Society of Central Arizona is having a month-long adoption special in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Our adoption special allows adopters to come in and choose their animal and then select a special reduced adoption fee out of our “pot of gold.”

The event is called “Lucky Paws.” Several lucky adopters will select “free adoption,” and others will receive an adoption fee as low as $25! There are no age restrictions in our adoption special either. Puppies and kittens are included in the reduced adoption fee event as well.

Adoption specials aren’t only a fun way to join the world of saving animals, but adoption events can also unite the community during rough times. HSCAZ has companion animals of all shapes and sizes. If you are looking for a long-haired kitty or a cuddly canine companion, don’t hesitate to come on in and enjoy our adoption special.

HSCAZ wants the community to know that we understand that economic times can affect the way you live your life, but we want to spread the love and inform people that the companionship of an adopted pet is a life-changing experience. Ironically, I adopted my best friend (my pit bull George) during an adoption special at an animal shelter in Baltimore City. I may have worked at the previously mentioned shelter, but I was unable to afford the regular adoption fee at the time. I fell in love with George, and as luck would have it…his adoption fee was reduced due to an adoption special similar to Lucky Paws. I knew it was fate, so I completed the adoption paperwork immediately. Now that George and I have bonded for over two years, I know that I made the right choice by adopting him. Thanks to an unforgettable adoption special, I found my long lost friend.

Did my story convince you to adopt? I sure hope it helped! The moral of this article is to not only promote our month-long adoption event, but to inform you that we have countless homeless animals begging for loving homes. Like I mentioned earlier in the article, your luck has finally changed. A life-altering experience is waiting for you at HSCAZ. We look forward to seeing you! The shelter is located at 812 S. McLane Road, and open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
