They didn’t come for Del Taco’s secret sauce, but made off with a stash of cash.
Payson police are investigating a Sunday morning burglary at the fast food restaurant off the Beeline Highway. Employees arrived at 6 a.m. to find money missing, but no signs of forced entry, said Police Chief Don Engler.
Employees noticed signs of an intrusion, then called police — who are keeping secrets of their own — namely how much money went missing or whether they have surveillance video of the theft.
