Flycasters Club

The Payson Flycasters Club will meet Saturday, May 26 at Tiny’s Restaurant, 600 E. Hwy. 260. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the meeting starts at 9 a.m. All interested fishermen and women are invited to attend.

Payson Area Singles

This group has no dues

Members will have a private showing of Men In Black at the Sawmill Theater Saturday, May 26. Meet inside by the snack bar at 9:30 a.m. The $6 ticket includes popcorn and a soda.

The Tuesday Morning Breakfast Bunch meets at Tiny’s Restaurant every week at 9 a.m. to visit and plan future activities.

Monday morning bowling takes place at Rim Country Lanes at 10 a.m. the first and third Mondays of the month and there is a discount coupon available for those who participate.

A trip to a Diamondbacks game is planned for Wednesday, June 20. Contact Fred at (928) 474-3413 for more information.

A Singles Pot Luck and pool-playing evening hosted by AnnMaree at The Canal Senior Apartments is planned for June 29.

Unity of Payson

The Rev. Julianne Lewis is an ordained Unity Minister and has ministered and taught in various church and community settings for the past 25 years. Her personal beliefs, spiritual training, and study of the world’s major religions have come together to form a rich tapestry of understanding and faith. She joins Unity of Payson from Interfaith Unity Church in Mesa and her talk will be Remember to Remember.

Payson Center for Spiritual Awareness

Payson Center for Spiritual Awareness has services at 11 a.m. Sundays at 107 W. Wade Lane. Lew Levenson will be the speaker May 27. There also will be a member’s meeting.

Friendship Bible Class

Friendship Bible Class, a non-denominational Bible study for women, meets at 1 p.m. every Tuesday at the coffee shop in the Swiss Village. All women in the community are invited. For information, call Marilyn at (928) 474-6712.

A Course in Miracles Study Group

A Course in Miracles Study Group meets from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursdays. Participation is by donation.
