Members of the Payson Women’s Golf Association closed their 2012 season with a costumed Jellybean Game. Season play resumes in March 2013
The PWGA 2012 season officially ended Oct. 30 with the members dressed as witches and participating in the Jellybean Game. Closest-to-the-pin winners were Karen Peterson and Kelly O’Neill.
On Oct. 2 the game of the day was Odd or Even, where players either get to count their scores on the odd holes or the even holes. In the A Flight, there was a first place tie between Marcy Hewlett and Judy Mackenzie. First in the B Flight was Jan Burns, with Joyce Goff coming in second. Marilyn Schaal won the C Flight, with a tie for second between Kay Davis and Mary Jones.

The Club Championship was held Oct. 8-9 and Oct. 16. Karen Peterson took Club Championship honors and was also the Low Gross Medalist. The Low Net Medalist was Jan Burns. Low Net Club Champion in the A Flight was Claudia Thompson, Judy Mackenzie in the B Flight and Mary Jones in the C Flight.
