Hello again, fellow Creekers.

On Saturday, Oct. 20 the Christopher Creek Homeowners Association held its semi-annual membership meeting. The results of the recent election were made known and the new officers were introduced: President Chuck Schmitt; Vice-president Irma Armenta and Secretary-Treasurer Gary Anderson. Retiring officers were given a big hand for all their hard work over the last four years: President Ron Louch, Vice-president Cathy Moore, and especially, Secretary-Treasurer Judy Tolle. The Christopher Creek HOA would like to thank you all for the hours and hours put into our community. The Christopher Creek Homeowners Association has 104 members who actively participate in the community.

Also, the Christopher Kohl’s Fire Department would like to thank everyone that voted for the five-person board. Your vote counted and CKFD would like to welcome the three new board members — Karen Thornton, Steve Sundra and Jim Hagen. The CKFD would like to express its sincere thanks to James Oliver for his 20-plus years of service with the department. His knowledge has been such a value to the growth of this department.

Lastly, Landmark at the Creek will be having its Second Annual Thanksgiving Potluck on Thanksgiving Day. There is a sign-up sheet in the restaurant or you may call Landmark at (928) 478-4587 to sign up. Doors open at noon and the potluck starts at 2 p.m.

We wish everyone a warm and safe Thanksgiving!
