Magical Evening Helps A Lot

Another year, another magical evening at the llama ranch in Strawberry! Joyce and John Bittner of Fossil Creek Creamery recently presented Pine Strawberry Fuel Reduction, Inc. with a donation of $3,200 from the second annual Farm Dinner.

We would like to thank John and Joyce and all the people who worked so hard to make this event a success, including Chef Akos Szabo, Chef Michael Dahling, Chef Gary Bedsworth, Chef Mark Hamilton, Chef Gerardo Moceri, Chef Tammie Coe, Chef Tim Stutz, Chef Ray Stevens, Chef Julie LaMagna, Chef Susie Watson, Chef Maggie Evans, Chef Ed Farrow, Ellen Parish, David Henninger, Desert Packing/Proactive Earth Choice Products, Dwight English, Wilcox Rising Hy, Mike Konefal, Bruce Sandground, Chris Wolf — culinary students, Carolyn at Goldwater Foods, Up the Creek B&B, Sue Myers, Pine Strawberry School, Don Gibson, Payson Roundup, Mike Blaes, Maureen and Chris Walsh, Delphia, Sally Randall, Steve and Darla McDowell, SCAF, First Baptist Church of Pine, Diane and Ed Enos and Jeff and Phyliss LoDestro.

This wonderful event raised much-needed funds to help protect the Pine Strawberry area in the event of catastrophic wildfire and to build a trail system in the fuel break.

We are so grateful to the more than 100 people who attended the dinner, for the generous donations of time and materials from the chefs and businesses and, of course, to John and Joyce Bittner for sponsoring the event.

Walt Smith,

Pine Strawberry Fuel Reduction, Inc.
