There’S So Much For Which To Be Thankful

Christopher Creek

Hello again, fellow Creekers. Last weekend the Christopher Creek Homeowners Association decorated the creek and Christopher Creek Loop with holiday lights and decorations. The lights will be turned on tonight, Nov. 23. Bring the family and come to the Christopher Creek Loop to enjoy the holiday lights.

Also, Landmark at the Creek had its second annual Thanksgiving Potluck on Thanksgiving Day. We will do a follow up next week about the event.

The holidays are here and in the spirit of Thanksgiving this is a good time to reflect on the year and try to focus on the things we can be thankful for.

I’m very thankful for the many visitors we get each year to Christopher Creek and we look forward to many more visitors who come up to enjoy the winter season.

The holidays are also a good reminder that it’s important to spend some quality time with family, friends and loved ones. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle during the holidays with shopping and preparing for visitors. Let’s all try to enjoy the time we have with those important to us and not forget to be thankful for what we do have.

Let’s also not forget to help our friends in need. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Christopher Creek Food Drive.

As always, I do need your help with content and stories! For anyone wanting to submit information from the Christopher Creek area for inclusion in our weekly article, please e-mail me at: Any submitted pictures must be full-size (typically around 1MB per picture). The cutoff time for inclusion in Friday’s article is close of business on Monday.

Thanks again for reading the column.
