Hello again, fellow Creekers.
It’s that time of year again and the leaves are starting to change colors. Christopher Creek is a beautiful area for nature lovers and photographers, or for those who just want to see the colors of fall.
ERA Young Realty and Investments will have color changing driving maps and hiking maps available. You may pick up a map at ERA or the chamber of commerce.
Also, don’t forget to come out for the Cruise into Fall Christopher Creek Classic Car Show this Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at the Christopher-Kohl’s Fire Department, located at 930 E. Christopher Creek Loop.
There will be hot dog lunches selling for $1.50, a spaghetti dinner for $5, a raffle, book and bake sale, and classic cars and fire trucks.
If you would like to donate items for the bake sale, please leave them at Tall Pines Market today, Friday, Oct. 19.
The event is sponsored by Christopher-Kohl’s Fire District.
For more information, you may contact Linda at the Christopher-Kohl’s Fire Department, (928) 478-4011.
As always, I do need your help with content and stories! For anyone wanting to submit information from the Christopher Creek area for inclusion in our weekly article, please e-mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Any submitted pictures must be full-size (typically around 1MB per picture). The cutoff time for inclusion in Friday’s article is close of business on Monday.
Thanks again for reading the column.
