Payson Regional Home Health last month welcomed Debra Snell RN, MSN, BSHA, PRHH as its new administrator.
Snell brings more than 32 years of service in home health nursing and leadership in administration to the job.
“I took the job to do what I love best, making sure best practices are provided to the patients and their families,” she said. Snell added that she was excited about the new opportunities of working with Payson Home Health, an affiliate of Payson Regional Medical Center.
While she is still new to the job, Snell said she has been impressed by the staff’s skill sets. “They are experts in home care, its philosophy and best practices. They are setting the bar high,” she said.
Snell said she has been embraced with open arms and has had the opportunity to meet with some of the community’s physicians and others. She hopes to meet more providers and residents to learn how the agency can provide better services to the community. To make that hope a reality she and others from Payson Regional Home Health will participate in the annual Community Health & Care Fair, which will be held at 8 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Julia Randall Elementary School gym.
Additionally, she is available to speak to clubs and organizations. To arrange a speaking engagement, contact her at (928) 474-5242.
Snell said the area here is much like the high desert she left in Bend, Ore. When not working, she and her husband enjoy fishing and golf, riding ATVs and traveling in their RV, she said.
Payson Regional Home Health provides skilled professional care that benefits patients’ physical as well as psychosocial well-being by allowing them to recover in the comfort and security of home.
