Longhorn Quarterback, Miguel Mendoza, #20, was dragged down from behind as he ran around the right end of the line for a significant gain that set up the touchdown by RJ Cox-Robinson, a few plays later.

The Show Low Cougar football team came to Payson Football Field with one thought on their collective minds: Win this game.

And win they did.

The Cougars marched up and donw the field almost at will for most of the evening. It was as if they were the only team on the field.

The Longhorns seemed to be sleep-walking through the motions and had no fight in them. There were a few highlights by the Longhorns, but the evening belonged to the Cougars.

Fast line play by the Cougars took the Longhorns by surprise and they were slow to react to the quickness of the defensive play of the Show Low team.

Final score; Show Low 47, Payson 6
