Fourth grade students from Julia Randall Elementary imitate a rain storm to dissolve coffee grounds on little, model rooftops for a hands-on lesson on pollution.

The annual Water in the Park event, was staged by the University of Arizona and the Payson Water and Recreation Departments.

Local Boy Scouts and the Payson Kiwanis and a high school science class assisted.

The students enjoyed hands-on lessons on the water cycle, water conservation, pollution, ground water and other topics.
