Shelter Has Many Pets In Need Of Homes

We are excited to announce that on Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20 the Humane Society of Central Arizona will hold special events and a ribbon-cutting for the community at large to celebrate the completion of the new shelter facilities!

On Friday, a mobile van will be on-site to offer low-cost spay-neuter services as well as microchipping, and on Saturday, activities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony as well as tours, demonstrations, art activities, adoption specials and more. Low-Cost Rabies Clinic

A Low-Cost Rabies Clinic will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Main Street Animal Clinic, 411 W. Main St. Rabies vaccinations only are $10. Licensing fees for all dogs as follows: Town of Payson, $20 unaltered, $7 altered; Town of Star Valley, $7 unaltered, $5 altered; Gila County, $15 unaltered, $7 altered

CASH ONLY!! All dogs receiving rabies vaccination must also purchase a license. Other vaccinations will NOT be available. Your pet is required to be secured at all times. If you have any questions, please call (928) 474-9292.
