The Humane Society of Central Arizona and PAWS in the Park have teamed up to bring the M.A.S.H. mobile vet to Payson on Saturday, April 13. The M.A.S.H. staff will offer spay/neuter surgeries for healthy dogs and cats AND vaccinations for rabies and parvo/distemper. The price list is as follows:

Method of payment is cash at time of surgery. You must be registered in advance and pay a $20 nonrefundable deposit in cash at the time of registration. To register, visit the HSCAZ shelter during business hours and make an official appointment. The shelter is located at 605 W. Wilson Court (just south of Main Street); hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information, call (928) 474-5590 or visit www.mashvet.net.

The Humane Society of Central Arizona is offering heartworm tests for $20 during our spay/neuter clinic on April 13. A simple blood test is all that is needed to determine whether a dog has heartworms. We will be distributing free heartworm preventative to non-infected dogs that have the test administered.

In conjunction with our low-cost spay and neuter clinic on April 13, the Humane Society of Central Arizona is offering reduced-cost microchipping for pets. All microchips will be $25 during the event, or $20 if purchased in conjunction with a heartworm test.

No appointment or deposit is necessary for the microchipping and heartworm testing. Just come by the shelter between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13.

Low-cost rabies clinic

A low-cost rabies clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Main Street Animal Clinic, 411 W. Main St. Rabies vaccinations are only $10.
