1935 Studebaker Commander - Bob & Mimi Halgren

Bob and Mimi Halgren bought their 1935 Studebaker Commander in South Dakota last October and drove it to Payson in one exciting adventure.

We went through sub-freezing temperatures, ice and snow all without a heater and the seat stuck in the far-forward position!

This car has the President 8-cylinder engine and a 3-speed OD transmission, which makes for good highway driving.

It was the first year for Studebaker’s Planar suspension, which they called the “Miracle Ride.” The car is a good driver with mostly original interior and stock color paint.
