Jam Session

The fifth annual Payson Farmers Market was busy as ever Saturday, with farmers selling bushels of Japanese eggplant, heirloom tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and purple and yellow wax beans.

The market also offered decadent dessert stalls, Raimondo’s gluten-free Italian breads and sauces and the ever-popular Tamale Store.

Susie Watson of Rim Country Jams (above) laid out more than 40 varieties of jam, which she personally made in a commercial kitchen in Pine.

The market continues every Saturday through Sept. 28 in the Sawmill Crossing parking lot.
