Financial advisor earns fiduciary designation 

Carrie Dick of Kevin Dick Investment Management Group has received the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) Designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies.

The AIF Designation acknowledges knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care.

The designation is the culmination of a training program, which included a comprehensive, closed-book final examination.

Dick, a Payson resident, is vice-president and financial planner at Kevin Dick Investment Management Group, 620 E. Highway 260, Suite B.

Dick specializes in wealth management, financial planning and 401k’s.

Business showcase coming in March

The 21st Annual Business Showcase is March 16 at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino. 

This year, the theme is “Celebrating Seniors of All Ages,” showcasing services and products for seniors, ages 18 to 80.

This year’s showcase will also mark the Second Annual Students Showcase, sponsored by Linda O’Dell, Gila County Superintendent of Schools.

The showcase will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 16 and features awards for “Best Theme,” “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice” booth.

The Chamber of Commerce will hold a sneak peek mixer, hosted by Rim Country Health, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16.

There are 48 booth spaces, and last year’s exhibitors have priority. After March 1, prospective exhibitors will have the opportunity to get a booth.

Each exhibitor will be given two tickets to the mixer, and additional tickets may be purchased for $5. The non-member ticket charge for the mixer is $20. All proceeds go toward the Chamber Ambassador program. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted to the Mixer.
