Hello again, fellow Creekers.
On Saturday, Feb. 2 the Christopher-Kohl’s Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 4568 N. Colcord Cove at 6:30 a.m.
The structure, a large, metal, two-bay garage with an apartment in the rear of the south bay, was a total loss.
The fire department was assisted on the scene by Hellsgate Fire Department. No injuries were reported. The building and contents are estimated at $150,000 by the owner Larkin A. Palmer. There is no definite cause of the fire at this time, and further investigation will be conducted.
The Christopher-Kohl’s Fire Department has a response area of more than a thousand acres of developments. It covers from beyond Kohl’s Ranch to Ponderosa Estates and Highway 260 to the top of the Mogollon Rim. The district offers structural and wildland fire attack, EMS and emergency rescue, and unparalleled community leadership.
Thank you to the Christopher-Kohl’s Fire Department and the many courageous folks that work hard every day to help protect our community.
