Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Lady D’s Wine Bar, Chocolate & Art is featuring a sparkling wine from Italy.

Owner Debora Sable said Fizz 56 Sparkling Red Brachetto is the perfect wine for Valentine’s because “It’s red, romantic, sparkling, delicious and has been touted as ‘the lover’s wine.’”

Sable said the wine is “as sweet as a first kiss and as seductive as the memory of it.”

Sable wants couples to create that magical first kiss or recreate it at Lady D’s, 714 N. Beeline Highway, an intimate wine bar in the heart of the Swiss Village Shops, this Valentine’s Day.

And in honor of all first kisses, Lady D’s Wine Bar, Chocolate & Art is offering a Valentine’s Day special — a dozen truffles and a bottle of Fizz 56 for $50.

Fizz 56 comes from a small winery in Piedmonte, Italy.

Fizz 56 Sparkling Red Brachetto is the perfect wine for Valentine’s Day.

“Brachetto is a grape native to Italy and rare in other wine-growing regions of the world,” she said. “The Brachetto grape is a light-bodied red grape and naturally effervescent. This Brachetto is highly aromatic with a hint of rose petals and soft berry notes with tantalizing flavors of raspberries, strawberries and cherries that will dance on the tip of your tongue.”

Paired with the wine are Lady D’s Naked Truffles, which Sable makes in-house with dried fruits, nuts, spice blend and 60 percent dark cacao chocolate.

Sable also offers truffles made with liquor know as the Id Please Collection.

Lady D’s opened Oct. 17, the culmination of many months of hard work.

Sable said she always wanted a space to combine her love of fine art, wine and truffles.

“I wanted to bring something sophisticated and fun to Payson — something warm and welcoming,” she said.

When she started selling her truffles at the local farmer’s market and was almost instantly successful, she decided to go forward with a storefront.

Sable said her goal was to create a cozy place where people could come to socialize, take a date or hang out with friends.

Besides wine and truffles, Lady D’s features light tapas, non-alcoholic beverages, jewelry, art and unique gifts.

Lady D’s is open Wednesday through Saturday. For more information, visit her Facebook page, www. facebook.com/LadyDsWineBarChocolateAndArt.
