It has been almost four years since Kutz Etcetera closed, but the salon is back with a new location and new amenities.
The beauty salon, once open in Pine, is now in Payson in the Sawmill Crossing, near Macky’s.
Some of the same friendly, familiar faces are behind the operation, including owners Robyn Hill and her daughter Melissa McNeeley. The mother-daughter team serves as the salon’s hairdressers while Kayle Cobb is the nail technician, offering manicures and pedicure services.
New to the salon, however, are two massaging chairs, one for pedicures and the other for customers to sit in when getting their hair washed.
Hill said the chairs are a huge hit with clients, most of whom have never sat in a massaging chair while getting their hair washed.
The small shop also features a selection of apparel and accessory options, including ‘blingy’ belts and purses.
After closing Kutz Etcetera several years ago, the women worked at various salons around Payson.
“We decided we needed a change of pace,” Hill said.
When the opportunity to open a salon in the Sawmill Crossing appeared, the women decided to give it a go.
The team has decades of experience behind them. McNeeley even offers eyelash extensions.
The salon is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment. For more information, call (928) 474-4918.
