“This is Gila County and Navajo County coming down on people who sell marijuana in their communities,” (said Navajo County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy James Molesa.) “This is not whether or not you believe in the medical marijuana law, it is people capitalizing on somebody else’s pain and addiction to make a profit.” (Police bust outlet for medical pot, Roundup, Feb. 12.)
Oh? You mean like hospitals, doctors, nurses and pharmacists capitalize on somebody else’s pain and addiction to make a profit?
I’m not into marijuana, medical or otherwise, but I wonder how an officer of the law could justify a bigoted statement like that? It makes the whole operation sound like a personal vendetta.
