Who are the ‘bad guys’?
Editor:
Jim Gier suggests that we examine history and facts to understand why Democrats are the bad guys.
Well, here goes: Actually, the present day Republican Party is largely made up of and influenced by, former “bad guy” Democrats.
The switch was made in the ’70s led by Sen. Strom Thurmond of South Carolina. It was a rebellion against the passing of the Civil Rights Act, that terrible piece of legislation, which granted equal status to black folks and others. Every state, which was once solidly Democrat, suddenly switched over the Republican Party where they were warmly welcomed and remain so today.
Now, with reference to impeachment, it is similar to an indictment by a grand jury calling for a trial. If the accused party is found guilty, the punishment is removal from office. No president has ever been found guilty in such a trial. Richard Nixon (that great Republican) escaped a trial by resigning the office.
Finally, Ted Turner has had nothing to do with CNN since 2006 after it was sold to Time Warner. It has become the most respected and honored news organization in the world.
Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News, on the other hand has been found guilty of “hacking” personal e-mails in order to get information for his network.
Snuffy Smith should get out more.

What a typical "Nobel" letter! That's what to much wine over time does to the mind. I understand that the local We Love Obama socialist club is holding their next meeting in the last standing public phone booth in Gila County.

Let’s see what they say when Hussein usurps the Constitution by executive order taking guns and prohibiting citizens from exercising their constitutional rights.

Let's see what they say when they finally listen to what is actually being said and realize all that the majority of folks want is background checks for all gun sales and no more high capacity clips.

We had a ban on "assault weapons, and on high capacity clips and they did little to nothing to stop massacres. Do you think that making the same flawed mistakes over and over will stop anything?

Informative. Thanks, Noble. I hope your point is not lost on the sheeple who need to be informed the most!
