The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits is hosting “Arizona Gives Day: Workshop for Nonprofits” at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Payson Senior Center, 514 W Main St. Payson.
All non-profit professionals, local government employees, board members and volunteers are invited to attend this free workshop.
Arizona Gives Day is a day for Arizonans to come together to make donations to as many non-profits as possible in 24 hours March 20. It is a one-day, statewide, online movement to harness the giving power of the community to strengthen the fundraising capacity of Arizona nonprofits.
Several topics will be covered in the workshop:
• History and background of Arizona Gives Day
• How to get started
• Tips, templates, and tools for success
