Thanks To Aps For Raptor Proofing Power Poles

Editor:

We live in a rural area in Tonto Basin. Among our wildlife are two great horned owls who are blessing us with nesting in our back yard.

Yesterday a neighbor witnessed them atop an APS power pole. This pole has proved tragic to birds in the past. I called APS and asked if these poles could be raptor proofed. This morning, first thing, an APS line truck arrived and raptor proofed several poles in the area.

Thanks to APS and their response.

Now bring on the owlets.
