Computer group meets tonight at library
All members and guests are invited to the Payson Area Computer Association’s next general meeting at 6:30 p.m., Friday, July 5 in the community room of the Payson Public Library. The first meeting is always free and everyone is welcome.
Ray Baxter, club vice president, will discuss some of the Office Suites that are available today. Baxter will demonstrate the new Microsoft Office 365 and show members how to utilize some of the free word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs available online.
Members and guests are invited to bring their laptops to follow along with the program. Club general meetings are held the first Friday of each month except for the month of August, with a member Fix-It meeting held mid-monthly. Unity of Payson
Unity of Payson invites you to share a musical message at 10 a.m., Sunday, July 7. Ron and Jen Paul will lead the service with an inspiring musical message titled, “Be Here Now.”
Ron has been the music director and Jen a music minister at Unity of Flagstaff since 2007. They have been making beautiful music together since they met 20 years ago at a musical event.
Also, Unity of Payson will celebrate everyone with birthdays in the month of July after the service. Please join in the celebration with refreshments and fellowship.
Unity of Payson invites participation with bringing in non-perishable items to contribute to the local food bank.

Payson Elks Lodge
Elks members and guests are welcome to enjoy lunch at the lodge from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; Friday dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday dinner from noon to 5 p.m.
Every Sunday there is bingo at 1 p.m. and a pool tournament at 4:30 p.m. with happy hour from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Rim Country Optimist Club usually meets the second Monday of each month at the Cedar Ridge Restaurant at the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino.

The Rim Area Gardeners meet the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 401 E. Tyler Parkway.
This month, Monday, July 8, Dean and Vee Gooding will speak on winter gardening, which will entail how to prepare your garden for winter. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
Payson Area Singles
The Tuesday Morning Breakfast Bunch, a group of single men and women, meet at 9 a.m. every week at The Journigan House, 400 W. Main, Payson, to visit and plan future activities.
Every Saturday during the summer we meet at Green Valley Park for the evening concerts. We sit on the grass nearest the church beside the sidewalk. All singles are welcome to come join us.
The group’s monthly Birthday Pot Luck Picnic at Willow Springs Lake is Thursday, July 18. The group carpools from Stage parking lot at 11:30 a.m.

Bikes for kids program receives donation
Anna Petty with BHP Billiton presents Sharon Winters, manager of the Gila County Recycling & Landfill Management Department a donation of $3,000 to purchase bike parts for the annual Gila County Bikes for Kids program. Bicycles pulled from the landfill or donated by the public are refurbished by Department of Corrections inmates and given out to deserving children at Christmas time.
Payson Pro Rodeo Committee
Payson Pro Rodeo Committee meets the second Tuesday of every month in the Swiss Village Best Western’s conference building at 6 p.m. New members welcome.

Rim Country 4 Wheelers
Members of the Rim Country 4 Wheelers invite anyone interested in 4-wheeling to join them at 8 a.m. each Wednesday in the parking lot at the east end of Bashas’ by Jiffy Lube.
Normally anywhere from four to a dozen or more members participate, and the destination is usually determined at that time. Runs also occur once a month on a Saturday and the destination is usually predetermined at the prior month’s meeting.
